Privacy at Not Far

Not Far shows what's on near you, drawn from what local businesses publish publicly — their Instagram posts and their own websites. You can browse everything without an account.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you sign in. We use it solely to send your one-time sign-in code and to keep your saved events and followed venues in sync across devices.
- Saves and follows — the events you save and venues you follow, linked to your account so they sync.
- Standard server logs — like every website, our host records requests (IP address, time, page) for security and debugging, retained briefly.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages people read. It sets no cookies, does not identify you, does not follow you to other sites, and gives us counts rather than people. We use no advertising trackers, we don't track your location, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.
Cookies
One cookie, and only if you sign in: it keeps you signed in. No third-party cookies.
Who processes data for us
- Railway — hosts the app and database.
- Resend — delivers sign-in code emails.
- Cloudflare — stores event images and provides cookieless page analytics.
About the listings
Event details and images come from local businesses' own public posts and websites, and each listing links back to its source. If you run a listed business and want something corrected or removed, get in touch.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, or to have your account and its data deleted — we'll do it promptly.
