In Focus: Boy (1969)

Part of the In Focus season on Japanese New Wave filmmaker Nagisa Ōshima. Boy tells the story of an injured war veteran who forces his new wife and two children to stage fake hit-and-run accidents to extort money. Based on a true story, it showcases extraordinary widescreen cinematography.
