Influenced by ancient artefacts, archaeology and mythology, Zahed creates sculptural works that feel like they have been unearthed, featuring richly textured surfaces and naturalistic patinas. Zahed has worked on many archaeological digs in the Middle East, informing his ceramic practice and his current PhD research project.
