A takeover of Whitechapel Gallery by creative collective DAYTIMERS, showcasing contemporary South Asian artistry and asking who holds the power to shape the future of Brick Lane. Features live music from BISHI, Soumik Datta and Shahbaz Hussain, DJs including Cockney Sikh and Farook JOI, poetry, film, workshops, pop-up art market and grassroots organising stalls. Complimentary chai and mango lassi from Dishoom (while stocks last). Free all-day neighbourhood party across multiple venues.
