The Island

A thought-provoking contemporary theatre production inspired by real testimonies from the period of British colonial rule in Cyprus. Two men—a Greek Cypriot and a Turkish Cypriot prisoner—meet in one prison cell on an island. Performed in Greek, Turkish and English, exploring themes of memory, identity, communication and shared humanity.
